While you eat a meal from Meal Mama you will be reminded of perhaps your mother's kitchen. You will experience nostalgia for the days when she prepared home cooked meals for you.

Meal Mama is a mother/daughter team that understands memories are made in the kitchen. Although Ani Cohen,
also known as “mama”, has no formal culinary training, she has a lifetime of experience cooking for friends and family,
hosting dinner parties and running a catering company. Most importantly, she cherished the times she used to cook for
her two daughters and looks forward to pampering them with her meals when they come to visit. As the head chef for Meal Mama, she hopes to grow a fan base that loves her cooking as much as her daughters do and to encourage her
customers to create memories around her food. She wants to know that her customers are well fed, happy and healthy.

Liat Cohen-Reeis has inherited her mother's love for cooking and entertaining. As the former owner of cocoa bar (Manhattan and Brooklyn locations), Liat knows first-hand the importance of providing a high quality product and the art of creating a delicious menu. Under Liat's ownership, the coffee, chocolate and wine bar was featured in Daily Candy, O Magazine, Time Out New York, New York Magazine, The Food Network TV, Social Magazine, The Post, Daily News (voted best iced-coffee), TONY Kids, NY Sun, AM Radio, Best of City Search, BET Goodie Bags, and many other numerous events, publications and blogs. cocoa bar specialized in pairing wines with chocolates, which was an innovative concept at the time of its' inception. Liat looks forward to dedicating the same attention to detail, passion for a high-quality product and time to understanding the needs of her customers to Meal Mama, ensuring that it to will be a successfully delicious venture!
